  • It looks like it is a MM "RTI" or, given that front bumper, maybe the military version, the "RTI-M". They were built from 1940-'55, but the "RTI-M" was only built in 1953( during the Korean War). You need to find the serial number tag, most likely affixed to the transmission housing, to really be sure. The numbers you list in your title are the bore x stroke of the model "EE" engine ( i.e. piston diameter and total distance the piston will travel from the top to the bottom of it's cylinder) they cant date the tractor, but they do help Identify this as an "R" series machine as they used that engine, although it appears a typo may have crept in- EE engines had a 3-5/8 inch bore, not 3-3/8".

  • My dad had two R's, but both were row crops, I was about 13 yrs old when we overhauled the 51 R, put the Aluminum pistons in it, made a world of difference, but that looks very different and rare bird there!!!

  • Grace, there is a pretty active Minneapolis collectors club in the USA, They have a working show usually every summer, the last one i attended was at Lennox, South Dakota. It's well managed show, with all their old machinery working.
